Luisa Evering receives Martin Schmeißer Medal

The Martin Schmeißer Foundation awards the Martin Schmeißer Medal for outstanding master theses with an international context. This year, the medal went to M.Sc. Luisa Evering.

Congratulations! Evering wrote her master's thesis under the supervision of Prof. André Bardow in the Energy & Process Systems Engineering Group at ETH Zurich, which recently started a close collaboration with the Process Automation Systems group. The thesis, titled "From process level to superstructure-based optimization: decarbonizing the heat supply in chemical parks," focuses on sustainability in the process industry. Evering investigated a way to decarbonize carbon emissions from heat supply in the chemical industry. The medal was presented at the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship ceremony by Prof. Wiebke Möhring, Prorector of Studies.
