Graduate farewell on the day of the BCI

The BCI department held a ceremony today to bid farewell to the graduates of the past year.

As part of the graduation ceremony, all Bachelor's and Master's graduates as well as doctoral and post-doctoral graduates received their degree certificates from the hands of Dean Prof. Norbert Kockmann - accompanied by great applause from their families and friends.

Congratulations to all those who were able to celebrate their successful graduation!

Vice-President Prof. Wibke Möhring conveyed the university's congratulations on behalf of the TU Dortmund University Rectorate.
Dominik Aubel, representative of the alumni association fabcing, also congratulated the graduates on their outstanding achievements.

In his address, Prof. Kockmann looked back on the highlights of the past year in research and teaching at the department.
The keynote speech by Dr. Peter Fischer (Orbia Polymer Solutions GmbH) was dedicated to the current "Challenges of the chemical industry".

In their speeches, Marlon Flor and Hilde Gerold from the circle of graduates recalled formative moments of their studies. The ceremony concluded with words from the student council, represented by Edith Marie Wollbrink and Moritz Westerheide, before ending with a joint reception.
