The Faculty of Bio- and Chemical Engineering offers students at the end of their studies a wide range of support for their transition into working life.

Every year in spring, the Faculty of Bio- and Chemical Engineering holds its Career Week . Lectures, workshops and discussions on four consecutive days familiarize students with the job profiles available in bio- and chemical engineering, give advice on the application process and tips for a successful career start.

The dates and the detailed program of the career week are listed in the events section.

Together with the Support and Alumni Association of the Faculty of Bio- and Chemical Engineering, there is also a mentoring program for students at the end of their studies. This mentoring brings students and former students who are already in professional life into contact with each other. Over a period of several months and in several meetings, students have the opportunity to get to know each other, to exchange ideas, and to receive individual coaching according to their needs.

Central offers of the Career Service of TU Dortmund complete the service in this area.
