Dr. Thomas Seidensticker receives Jochen Block Prize 2025
Promotion of young scientists
The Jochen Block Prize is awarded by the German Catalysis Society to young scientists whose work emphasizes independence, originality and scientific and technical progress in the field of catalysis. Special consideration is given to researchers at an early stage of their career who do not yet hold a permanent professorship or a comparable position in industry or research institutions.
The prize is endowed with 3,000 euros and is sponsored by Clariant. The aim of the award is to recognize and promote promising young talents in catalysis research. More information about the prize can be found here.
The award ceremony will take place as part of the GeCatS party during the 58th Annual Meeting of German Catalysts on March 13, 2025 in Weimar.
The department would like to congratulate Dr. Seidensticker on this special award.
