Industrial internship

This industrial internship is divided into a basic internship and a specialized internship. The students are to gain an insight into industrial practice, acquire practical specialist knowledge and improve their social skills. The voluntary basic internship is intended to provide an initial introduction to the industrial working world in the chemical production environment. It may include basic manual training in materials processing or construction.

The specialist internship is intended to:

  • provide a first insight into relevant engineering activities in companies and offer the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills acquired in the course of studies to concrete problems,
  • provide an insight into project execution and project management as well as interdisciplinary and intercultural cooperation in heterogeneous project teams in commercial enterprises,
  • preferably be completed in design and development departments or in production companies in the environment of the chemical / biotechnological industry.
