BCI popular venue for visitors at TU "Open House"

The guests at the Open Day of the TU Dortmund showed great interest in the offers of the BCI faculty. Many took the opportunity to learn about special research areas of the professorships of Plant and Process Engineering, Process Automation Systems and Thermodynamics during the laboratory tours.

In his lecture "The search for antibiotics in the race against super germs", Dr. Hubmann informed about the development of new pharmaceuticals. In the BCI Gallery, visitors were once again able to learn about the results of the interdisciplinary project "Engineering meets Art (EmA)" and also to get to know various facets of the faculty, such as the ChemCar, the production of peppermint pastilles, beer brewing and Fermentation using the example of kimchi, and to learn how a control station works in the chemical industry. Last but not least, there was the opportunity to learn about BCI's undergraduate programs through a lecture as well as individual advising.
