Pupils visit the BCI within the framework of the "SchnupperUni".
The workshops and lectures offered by the BCI faculty were attended by about 50 students. In the workshop "Chemical plants and computers", the participants were taught the basics of controlling chemical production plants and were able to carry out initial programming work on a pilot plant. In the second workshop, "How does the peppermint get into the pastille?", the participating students independently extracted peppermint oil and then used it to produce pastilles. In the information event, those interested were able to find out about the job profiles and study contents of the Biochemical- andchemical engineering.
