New Biopharmaceutical Engineering degree program launched
From the coming winter semester 2025/26, the BCI department will be offering its new "Biopharmaceutical Engineering" (BPE) degree program.
The BCI department is responding to the increasing use of biopharmaceuticals and the associated need for expert personnel with this new degree course. In line with industrial requirements, engineering and biotechnology expertise is combined with comprehensive IT knowledge during the course. This knowledge is particularly important as, for example, today's production facilities are increasingly networked and automated in order to make production more flexible. The new course is the first of its kind in Germany. In order to enable a broad audience to participate, the Master's course is offered in English.
