Ulfert Onken Prize for Biotechnology goes to Dr. Erin Jordan
Dr. rer. nat. Erin Jordan has been awarded the Ulfert Onken Prize in Biotechnology for her dissertation entitled "Advancement of Cannabinoid Biosynthesis through Omics Analysis: Systems Biology, Genome Mining with Structural Biology, and Cannabinomics".

The prize, donated by Prof. Ulfert Onken, is awarded for special achievements in the field of biotechnology. Prof. Onken is considered the founder of biotechnology at TU Dortmund University.
The prize is awarded annually by the Alumni and Support Association of the Faculty BCI, fabcing, and was presented by Dominik Aubel and Prof. Norbert Kockmann.
