Bachelor Chemical Engineering
In addition to a general introduction to process engineering production, the Bachelor's degree initially teaches the necessary fundamentals of mathematics, physics, inorganic and organic chemistry, technical mechanics, materials science, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and the theory of transport processes.
This is followed by courses in chemical engineering-specific subject areas, e.g. process engineering, technical chemistry, apparatus engineering, process dynamics and control, process design, numerical mathematics and specialization courses that can be chosen according to the student's interests.
The theoretical knowledge acquired is consolidated in practical courses and practically applied in group work as part of a plant design project.
After completing the Bachelor's thesis, the vocationally qualifying Bachelor's degree course is completed.
